Our Early Childhood Academy program is for children ages 4 to 5 years, not yet eligible for Kindergarten. Children who turn 5 before September 1 are encouraged to register for Kindergarten.

Currently located at Eagle Ridge and Larkspur, the Early Childhood Academy (for four year olds) is taught by a certified teacher. This program provides our littlest learners strong literacy and math skills that will prepare them for their kindergarten experience.

Important Information

• Enrollment in any program, including Gifted Preschool, does not waive the kindergarten entrance requirement that a child must turn 5 years old before September 1st.
• Our Early Childhood Programs are for children ages 3 to 5 years, not yet eligible for Kindergarten. Children who turn 5 before September 1 are encouraged to register for Kindergarten. It is not our practice to have children who are Kindergarten eligible enroll or repeat PreK.
• All children must be toilet trained to attend.
• All children must meet the age requirements of the program for which they enroll by August 31st of the current academic year. Children whose fourth birthday falls after school starts in August, but before September 1st, will be eligible to begin on the Monday following their birthday.
• All programs meet Monday through Friday and follow the district academic calendar.
