Introducing 'English 4 Mamas' - an interactive English class for you and your baby! Join us as we sing, chant and dance our way through English sounds, words and phrases to help you and your baby on your English journeys! All mamas and babies under 2 years-old are welcome. The class is beginner level so no previous knowledge of English is required. (Please remember to bring your phones). Join us at the PVFRC for a workshop facilitated by our friends at the Phoenix Public Library. Tools for School is a workshop for children 3-5 with their favorite adults. Who’s it for? Children three to five years old and their favorite grownups What will you do? You and your child will get a head start on kindergarten! Share books and activities that build kindergarten skills in class and are easily practiced at home. What will we learn? Learn kindergarten basics like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. You and your child will also go beyond the basics to work on social and emotional skills that all children need for school. Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed.
